That’s the first thing we fix, before we touch the content calendar. For some businesses, working means enquiries through DMs. For others, it’s people saying “I saw your reel” when they walk in. For an e-commerce brand, it might be clicks on the checkout link. We ask up front because optimizing for likes when your goal is walk-ins means measuring the wrong number for months.
Most accounts we take over have already been posting for months, and the content usually isn’t the problem. Nobody ever sat down and decided what the account is supposed to do for the business. That conversation takes about twenty minutes, and we usually have it before you sign anything. It changes what we post from week one.
The platforms don’t share an audience or a behaviour. Instagram is mostly reels and stories now, and a static post barely gets seen compared to three years ago. Facebook still works better for an older, more local crowd and for community-group engagement. If most of your customers are on one platform, we won’t push you to run both equally just to look consistent.
Content gets planned in batches of two to three weeks, built around what’s actually happening in your business: a new product, a seasonal push, a customer question that keeps coming up. We’d rather build a month around five real things than invent filler for the sake of a daily streak.
Captions and hooks are written for the first three seconds, which is roughly how long a reel gets before someone scrolls past. It doesn’t matter how good the rest is if the hook doesn’t land. We test a few hook variations early and keep whichever ones hold attention, whether or not they’re the ones we expected to win.
Paid work (boosted posts, Instagram and Facebook ads) is handled separately from organic, with its own targeting and its own budget. Throwing five hundred rupees at a post isn’t a strategy.
Reporting looks at saves, shares and DMs before likes. Likes inflate fastest and sit furthest from anyone buying anything. Two hundred likes and no enquiries? That post did nothing for you. Forty likes and three enquiries did.
We plan the month around your actual business, make the reels and posts, and schedule them. And we answer comments and DMs the same day, because a reply three days late usually means the customer is gone. We also do a monthly call to go through what moved and what didn’t.
